Creamy Miso Butter Sauce
- 2 tbsp white miso
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 shallot, chopped
- 1 cup half and half or heavy cream
- Char white miso on a pan or under a broiler until brown and dry. Do not burn.
- Scrape up miso and mix with butter in a pan, add shallots and saute.
- Slowly mix in half and half, stirring until smooth and combined.
- Reduce until sauce reaches desired consistency.
