Buttered Carrots
- 2 lbs carrots, peeled, sliced
- 3 tbsp butter
- chives
- salt
- pepper
- Melt butter over medium heat, add carrots and salt
- Cook 5 minutes with lid until until steaming
- Turn to low, cook 15-20 minutes
- Remove lid, add pepper, cook until liquid is evaporated, 5 minutes
- Add chives, season
